Maryland health regulations require a personal chef to either prepare the food in the home of the client or in a commercial kitchen. By cooking your food in your home, Just A Matter Of Thyme can offer a one-on-one, personalized service of food prepared just for you.
No. Chef Constance would be happy to recommend containers for you to purchase or provide containers of the appropriate size for your service. This will be discussed in detail at your initial interview.
The best thing you can do for a personal chef is to provide a clean sink, clean counters and a comfortable room temperature.
Chef Constance’s Personal Chef Service comes to you at affordable prices. Fee is based on number of entrees plus the cost of groceries and containers. A standard menu consists of 5 entrees and some side dishes. Each entree consists of 4 servings. Menus and prices are customized based on clients’ needs. There is no pressure to sign any contract. To try the service, you may elect to purchase just one menu of 5 entrees.
For the first service, full payment of the Chef’s Service Fee is required in advance. Reimbursement for the groceries will be on the cook day. If continuing with services, simply leave a check on the kitchen counter on the agreed-upon cook date.
